Hello, I’m Julie Hogan, counsellor for East Cornwall Counselling.

Welcome to my website. Like me, this site will be continually developing and reflect changes from time to time, so do keep popping back.

If you feel you are having difficulty coping, feeling anxious or depressed or have experienced a loss or bereavement or simply having problems with life in general, counselling may be able to help you get things back into perspective.

Taking time for you is really important and reflecting upon your experiences is a great step towards looking after yourself. The counselling process enables you to do this in a safe and empathic environment where you will be listened to respectfully and without judgement.

Recognising the first step is often the most difficult I offer an initial meeting at no cost to you. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and find out how counselling may support you. My aim is to equip you with some useful skills that will enable you to take better care of yourself over the course of our counselling sessions.
